Better Oats
The Better Oats Story
Better Oats is part of a long American cereal story, with a range built around whole grain oats and convenient breakfasts.
2010: Better Oats arrives
The Malt-O-Meal Company introduced Better Oats in 2010. Its early range brought a variety of instant oatmeal choices to breakfast cupboards, including flavors and different grain combinations. The brand's 2010 trademark record and contemporary launch coverage place its beginnings in that year.
2015: a larger cereal family
Post Holdings acquired MOM Brands, the renamed Malt-O-Meal Company, in 2015. MOM Brands and Post Foods combined to form Post Consumer Brands. Better Oats remains in the company's breakfast portfolio.
The oatmeal range today
The brand includes Steel Cut, 100 Calorie and Organic oats. Our packet collection focuses on six Steel Cut and 100 Calorie varieties in six-box packs. Each range gives you a different starting point for breakfast, from a plain oat base to familiar maple, apple and cinnamon-roll flavors.
The measuring pouch is one of the range's useful details. After emptying the dry oats into a bowl, you can use the printed line to measure water. Check the particular pouch because amounts differ between flavors. Read the preparation guide for a side-by-side comparison.
